Dr. Jay French, a physician who is board certified in Orthopaedic and Hand Surgery, began his medical training at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. His postgraduate study included an internship and residency at Tulane University Affiliated Hospitals, and rigorous training in Hand Surgery at the Florida Orthopaedic Institute during an externship. Dr. French completed his fellowship in Hand and Shoulder Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Volunteer work included years at the Cerebral Palsy Clinic in New Orleans and two months as a visiting orthopaedic surgeon at the Cambodia Center of Hope Hospital. Dr. French is a member of multiple professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Southern Orthopaedic Association, and the Mid-Atlantic Orthopedic Association.
