Dr. Sean Grace, a board certified orthopaedic surgeon, joined TOC in 2007.
He is a graduate of LSU Medical School in New Orleans and completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis.
During his sports medicine fellowship, Dr. Grace trained under world-renowned experts Dr. Buddy Savoie and Dr. Walter Shelton learning advanced arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical techniques. He was the team physician for Jackson State University and has extensive on-field experience covering high school, junior college, and college athletics.
He has authored publications and spoken at international meetings on topics such as elbow instability and patella instability. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, Arthroscopy Association of North America, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and Tennessee Orthopedic Society.
Dr. Grace currently serves as team physician for Grace Christian Academy and is also a ringside physician for mixed martial arts events.
Dr. Grace has surgical privileges at Parkwest Surgery Center, Methodist Medical Center and Parkwest Hospital. He sees patients at the TOC Oak Ridge office.
He is currently Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Methodist Medical Center.
