Radiology Technologist/MA- (Full-time) West Knoxville

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Practices excellent customer service.
  • Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
  • Takes x-rays, as ordered, following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
  • Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
  • Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
  • Assists with surgical packet completion.
  • Completes medical records requests.
  • Maintains dosimetric badges and logs.
  • MA responsibilities to include:
    • Schedule patient appointments in practice management system specifically after 5:30 p.m.
    • Schedules patient tests, labs and MRIs.

TN licensed and ARRT a must!

Patient Account Representative- (Full-time) West Knoxville

Experienced Medicare and Commercial A/R Representative needed.

Responsible for:

  • Filing insurance claims.
  • Working accounts receivable.
  • Corresponding with Medicare and Commercial payers.

Excellent customer service and communication skills are required. Centricity/NextGen/Navicure (or similar billing and claims scrubber software) experience a plus!

Education: High school diploma.

Experience: Minimum two years medical office experience preferred.

ATC – PRN

PRN Certified Athletic Trainer needed for sports coverage.

Essential Job responsibilities include: prevention, recognition, assessment, immediate care, rehabilitation, and reconditioning of athletic injuries. This position will require coverage of events that could include evening and weekend responsibilities, as well as, occasional travel to away events. ATC will communicate with athletes, parents, coaches, and team physician regarding athlete’s care within the bounds of HIPPA and Tennessee Orthopaedic Clinics Policies and Procedures.

Front Office Coordinator- (Part-time, Quick Care After Hours) Sevierville

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes patient with excellent customer service.
  • Checking in and/or checking out patients for physician appointments.
  • Verification of patient’s demographics, PCP, referring physician, insurance coverage and co-pay, at time of visit.
  • Entering patient demographic information in the practice management system.
  • Verifies and distributes patient history.
  • Scans/sorts all forms related to front office processes.
  • Manages and coordinates all internal referrals.
  • Scheduling return appointments for patients.
  • Collection of copayments, patient balances and form fees.
  • Distributes requested documents to patients.
  • Completes/balances end of day batch processes.
  • Maintains and communicates patient wait times.

Education: High school diploma.
Experience: Minimum two years medical office experience preferred.

Hours:
4-8pm M-F
8am-12pm, Saturday

Medical Assistant- (Full-time) West Knoxville

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Practices excellent customer service.
  • Assist physician with all procedures.
  • Schedule patient appointments in practice management system specifically after 5:30 p.m.
  • Schedules patient tests, labs and MRIs.
  • Answers follow-up phone calls from patients when appropriate.
  • Rooms patient(s) for treatment.
  • Records MU in EHR.
  • Draw up injections for physician and assist in administering.
  • Assists in transfer of physically challenged patients.
  • Application and removal of cast and splints/DME.
  • Cleans and disinfects room after each patient leaves.
  • Cleans and prepares used instruments for autoclaving.
  • Dispose of any hazardous waste bags daily.
  • Orders supplies and stocks rooms as needed.
  • Completes all forms for procedures and services performed in clinic.
  • Casting experience preferred.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education: High school diploma. Graduation from an approved medical assisting program.
Experience: Minimum one year MA experience in a healthcare setting; clinic experience preferred. MA certification required.
