Front Office Coordinator- (Part-time, Quick Care After Hours) LeConte

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  1. Welcomes patient with excellent customer service.
  2. Checking in and/or checking out patients for physician appointments.
  3. Verification of patient’s demographics, PCP, referring physician, insurance coverage and co-pay, at time of visit.
  4. Entering patient demographic information in the practice management system.
  5. Verifies and distributes patient history.
  6. Scans/sorts all forms related to front office processes.
  7. Manages and coordinates all internal referrals.
  8. Scheduling return appointments for patients.
  9. Collection of copayments, patient balances and form fees.
  10. Distributes requested documents to patients.
  11. Completes/balances end of day batch processes.
  12. Maintains and communicates patient wait times.

Education: High school diploma.
Experience: Minimum two years medical office experience preferred.

4-8pm  M-F
8am-12pm, Saturday

Radiology Technologist/MA- (Part-time, Quick Care After Hours) LeConte

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

  1. Practices excellent customer service.
  2. Prepares patients for radiologic procedures.
  3. Takes x-rays, as ordered, following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  4. Uses a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials.
  5. Ensures equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
  6. Maintains examination rooms. Stocks necessary medical and radiologic supplies.
  7. Assists with surgical packet completion.
  8. Completes medical records requests.
  9. Maintains dosimetric badges and logs.
  10. MA responsibilities to include:
    • Schedule patient appointments in practice management system specifically after 5:30 p.m.
    • Schedules patient tests, labs and MRIs.
    • Answers follow-up phone calls from patients when appropriate.
    • Rooms patient(s) for treatment.
  11. Other duties as assigned.

TN licensed and ARRT a must!
2 years of medical office experience (Orthopedics preferred.) Splinting experience a plus; Computer literate and Windows applications; NextGen experience a plus.

4-8pm  M-F
8am-12pm, Saturday
