Sports Medicine Primary Care is a unique new service we offer to our physically active patients, of all ages, who want to play harder and work their bodies more efficiently.
We consult with the athlete, learning what the strengths and weaknesses are, and develop a conditioning routine, physical therapy schedule and overall health strategy to get them working at the optimal level.
As primary care physicians, we have that unique opportunity to also work with athletes who have chronic conditions, such as diabetes, to educate them on the right way to work and the correct way to fuel their bodies.
We are the non-operative team that follows the protocol for patients who have suffered concussions, athletic sprains, and exercise-induced asthma. We are primary care physicians who have been trained in non-surgical orthopedic sport medicine.
The goal is stronger, smarter athletes who suffer less injuries and better outcomes in their sport or exercise of choice.
